Psychodrama and Action Methods

Psychodrama and Action Methods allow individuals to put into action their thoughts and feelings and create new roles, behaviors and choices for their lives, relationships and dreams. Professional Experience

SUZIE JARY has over 20 years of experience in the addiction and recovery, mental health and career development fields. Suzie creates a supportive and encouraging working relationship and provides services that are highly personalized to each person’s needs and goals.

She sees individuals for psychotherapy, career counseling and resume creation. In addition she provides couples counseling, leads groups, trains clinicians in Psychodrama and Action methods, presents workshops and is an invited guest speaker.

A recognized specialist in the issues performing and creative artists face, she has spoken internationally about artists’ career development and transitions and was profiled in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal and New York Daily News for her work with Career Transition For Dancers, a national not-for-profit organization. Her background is as a professional musical theatre dancer performing on Broadway, throughout the U.S., and in Europe, before entering the helping profession.

Currently, Suzie is Faculty and Clinical Coordinator in the Substance Abuse Counseling Certificate/Human Services Provider Program at Weatherford College in Weatherford, TX.
